MOTOR INSURANCE:
This product is sold by almost all insurance companies in the Gambia and it’s the most common
among all other products. This is because all motorists are required by law, to have a motor
insurance cover in accordance to the Road Traffic act. The various policies sold under this
product are:

• Third Party
• Third Party Fire and Theft
• Comprehensive

It is important to note that all these types are sold by all insurance companies that underwrite motor insurance. What differentiates them is the way each company packages its own product and the manner in which it distributes.
